Seen Better Times on Jefferson Ave

building
We love this elegant old walk-up apartment building at 498 Jefferson Avenue, paint color and all. Judging from the boarded up windows, it's had a rough run of late. A perusal of its Property Shark profile turns up a reference to HPD and vacate orders. It looks like it changed hands for $80,000 back in '03 but that it now is in the hands of the city. Anyone know if this is right? We hope it ends up in the right hands.

I live in this building now. They've repainted it (blue) and done an excellent job rehabilitating it! The apartments are all newly renovated, with hard wood floors; the mailboxes are brand new; there is a new chandelier in the foyer and new locks on the doors. I like it here!
