The Brooklyn Bourbon Festival
This Sunday from noon to 9 PM, join LeNell at her Red Hook Wine & Spirit Boutique (416 Van Brunt Street b/t Coffey & Van Dyke) for the 2nd Annual Brooklyn Bourbon Festival. She'll be pulling out all her American whiskey bottles and visitors will be invited to taste three of their choice. The tastings will be served with country ham, hog's head cheese, deviled eggs from her backyard hens, along with "a few treats for you veggie heads, non-pork eaters, and kosher folks." (It is, after all, Rosh Hoshanah. Alex Battles (at right) and the Whiskey Rebellion will play around 3 PM.
