More Architectural Eye Candy in Crown Heights
A block further East from the houses we looked at yesterday, we noticed this row of houses with these terraces in front. Once again, we can't recall seeing anything similar--at least with this level of uniformity--elsewhere in Brownstone Brooklyn. Can you? GMAP

Actually there is a small grouping of similar houses (I forget how many, maybe 4-6) in Lefferts -- south side of Fenimore Street near Bedford.

Bay Ridge has a lot of nice Brown/Limestone row houses; most are built between 1899 – 1910. Great area, although not on the map of many brokers!

There are also limestone row houses with front terraces on Stuyvesant Avenue in Stuy Heights. On both sides of street. You also featured on of them on the HOTD in March 2006 which later sold for $1.2M.

How big are these terraces? Can you actually walk out on them? Hard to tell from pic.

Almost the entire block of Maple Street between Bedford and Rogers is completely uniform

There is a similar row of houses--all story taller--on New York Ave, between Lincoln and St. John's.
