The pic of Vanderbilt house looks familiar. As perhaps was HOTD or open house pick once? Tried finding in archives to no avail. I love to re-read comments after something has sold.

That house was on the market a lot longer. At least 3 months, if not more.

Yes, I think the Vanderbilt house was on the market longer, but it's a great house. I couldn't understand why it didn't sell more quickly. I think Windsor Terrace gets short shrift on Brownstoner.com--it's a terrific neighborhood where one can actually find whole houses for the price of a condo in hipper neighborhoods.
