Salvage Dilemma: Moving Concrete Blocks

The Salvage boards over on Brooklyn Record have yielded an interesting situation: Someone needs to get move two large concrete blocks that are now sitting on the sidewalk in the West Village. He needs suggestions on how to get rid of them pronto. Ideas?

call a demolition company and ask them to remove it, for a price they will. very simple.

I've been following this on BR - I think the idea is the guy doesn't want to pay thousands of bucks.
