How's The Reception in Greenpoint?
Time Warner's got its work cut out in Greenpoint, huh?

In order to get the best acces to polish tv you have to get dish.

what he said. There is a HUGE business in satellite TV in Greenpoint, all aimed at the Polish expatriate community. Unless you've lived here, and experienced being spoken to in Polish first in the bank, doctor's office, grocery store, you can't quite understand how huge the need is.

I think also you can tell the nationality of the residents by which way the dish points. Notice these go in two directions - one is probably DTV, the other PolSat.
TWC was also really slow to bring digital cable (or in some cases, any cable) to a lot of areas in north Brooklyn, which explains the proliferation of south-facing dishes.

I've had Time Warner Cable here for a few years, and I can tell you from personal experience that the service here stinks. My cable is always having problems, and it's impossible to get fixed in a timely manner.

I have TWC and my Road Runner always goes out at least once a day. It drives me nuts. Not too many problems with the cable itself though.
