What was the sale price for the Greenpoint Property?

How much did the Greenpoint house actually sell for vs asking?
Posted by: Anonymous at May 22, 2006 10:48 AM
They left the price out in the paper!

I wouldn't call the Adams Street apartment part of Brooklyn Heights. It's in the no man's land by the on-ramp of the Brooklyn Bridge. So either it's DUMBO or Metrotech, but certainly not BH.

Concord Village is downtown Brooklyn.

Someone paid $86,000 over asking for the Adams street property? I guess the market isn't cooling so quickly in downtown brooklyn after all...
Concord Village is really considered "downtown brooklyn" not brooklyn heights or dumbo... the boom in dumbo has certainly helped bump it's status...

what newspaper was it in? Is there a way to find out the price. I know someone who really wanted the house.

yeah, whew.
For a minute I thought the world was coming to an end. A 630sqft one-bedroom in the Heights for $295k.
Although, if you think about the 6 new towers they're building around Tillary and Flatbush, maybe a Concord Village investment isn't as risky as it once was.

Should the "209" have been "309"?

I heard the Greenpoint house sold before the open house, all cash offer, to a person walking, while it was being shown to someone else!

What's the sale price of the Greenpoint house? It was in desperate need of a gut reno.

there was a lot of really beautiful original detail though in the Greenpoint House-

I'm sure the asking price had to be $309k for Concord Village apt. $209 was misprint. Most 1 bdrooms are above $300 in complex these days. I think still quite a value for area (whether you consider it Bklyn Hts or not).
And I don't live there.

The Greenpoint house is on a really nice block. Renovation needed or no, I'm sure it went for every penny.

Greenpoint house sold for 737000- just posted on property shark

The Adams Street apt. is in Concord Village, which seems undervalued when you consider the lovely surrounding areas, improved school district, and one-stop Manhattan subway service -- as long as you don't mind the five-minute walk to Montague Street area. But that's not too bad.
