From Cheesecake to Condos on Fulton

Brownstoner reader Geralyn Shukwit sent us this time lapse series taken at the corner of Fulton and Ashland over the last several weeks. We never ate there, but Geralyn ain't losting sleep over the loss of the Chesepeake Cheesecake store. "Stanky" is the word she used to describe. She's guessing condos and we've got no reason to doubt her. Addendum: Alert readers point out that this is the future site of the previously-discussed Forte Condos.

wasn't cheesecake that was "STANKY!" but the seafood they left inside after they closed many months ago. nasty.

Are there any pictures of what the new development will look like? There are no pictures on the firm's website and a google search revealed nothing.

I will miss the sign that said "Stop Suffering! At 3PM, 5PM, and 7PM" Just the thought that suffering could end on schedule like that...
