Condos for Myrtle?
Half a block away, at the corner of Willoughby Myrtle and Kent, there's a building going up that's got Condo written all over it. Is this going to be another architectural masterpiece that looks like it was designed based on what building products were on special that day at Home Depot or can we hope for something a little better?

my guess is it's going to be a hasidic special of the day, with sukkoth structures.

That corner is Myrtle and Kent, by the way. Not Willoughby.

the building is going to be condos, can't say how it will look when finished, but they are building it right, not slapped together Hasid-style. It will have a parking lot in the basement- hoping for something halfway decent. Does anyone know what is up with that end of Myrtle? So much construction, and a few lots still open...

It will be a Hasidic development, (I know the developer well) but no faculty shit, so they had to do a nice job.

this building is a rock throw from the area I refer to as "project row"... up the block there's a about a million housing projects on Park and Myrtle Aves including Marcy, Thompkins and Sumner Houses and those are just the ones on Myrtle. that being said, I wonder how these will be priced since clearly those projects are going no where fast AND the closest train is the G (total waste of transit) Willoughby-Myrtle.

hey mentch- does that mean that the building will be for the Hasidim or they are just the developers? i live a block away (just past the collapsed building!) and am curious about all of the new construction going on. seems like there is a race between the Hasidim and the Hipsters (and they are displacing the Homies and the Hispanics!) it is our very own 4H club

It's a Hasidic developer, and it's build for the Hasidic community.
