The Fate of 722 Marcy: Salvation or Butchery?
Located on the western side of Tompkins Park in Bed Stuy, 722 Marcy has a beautiful skin but we can't imagine what's left on the inside. We'd love to do a project like this where one tried to recreate the interior from scratch--though for all we know, this'll be another slap-dash job with plastic flooring and cheap kitchenettes. Man, we hope not though. What potential!

This is on the park? Wow. It could be spectacular. What proportions. Whoops, I drooled on my keyboard.

We know that the entire interior woodwork from 978 Park Place is available from Circa Antiques on Atlantic Ave.
It would make a great new home for it.

Actually, not so good an idea I think. If you have to build new it's got to be new, not borrowed. Then it becomes kitsch.
