Another fun thing on listings like this - click on the google map link and you get the message: "We could not understand the location kosiusko st at NY NY NY US". Yeah, me neither.

Shlomo has a bunch of postings here (35 since Jan 31), all in Bed-Stuy, mostly ugly new construction, and all somewhat linguistically challenged (check out the amazing doplex!). Is he the developer or is he a broker? I thought you had to say if you were.

all yours for only 669,000!

He is a developer/builder. Babs, he renovated a house across for 274 Lefferts and another on Sterling St. about a year ago.

I've always wanted to buy new "constracrion."

Seriously, I hate misspellings in all of these ads.

Thanks 1:49. Considering that the house he renovated on Lefferts Ave is in the historic district, he couldn't do anything to the outside. What the renovation consisted of on the inside I can't imagine, judging from his other handiwork. I wonder if this is the same house now listed w. Foxton's for $775K? That would be funny.

I don't remember the exact address. There might have been fire in it at one time - ask your neighbors. Oak strip, lots of sheetrock to create bedrooms in the basement (hmmm, baseboard heat. The one on Sterling St. was even sadder. All details were stripped. The house did have the original parquet floor but I don't know what happened to that since the painters didn't bother with drop cloths. Lefferts I think was 659 (2 family) and Sterling 699. At one point A&H had the houses.

Babs,
I looked at the one of Foxtons. The Foxtons one is MUCH better.

Ugly construction should go for way less $. If you just don't have the funds to buy anything else, I guess it's your foot-in-the-door to the real estate market. But still...hideous.

THAT LIKE THIS TENANT PAY THE ON BILLIES!

YAY!

Actually, there's no such thing as 699 Sterling St, although there is a house at 699 Sterling Place, last sold in 1984 according to PShark. And while there is a 659 Lefferts Ave. it is in no way across the street from 274. It's all the way over by Albany Ave., and was last sold in 1988 according to PShark which also lists it as a 3 family.

The only house on my street that I know of having suffered fire damage is between Bedford and Rogers and has been boarded up ever since (about 1 yr ago).

So is PLG safe from Shlomo for the mo(ment)?
