i still got a tightness in my chest and had tears welling up in my eyes this morning, despite having not lost anyone personally- just from being a New Yorker. the weather this Sunday was as beautiful as it was on 9/11/01, and it makes me thankful to be alive and reminds me to appreciate all I have- today.

I thought the exact same thing this morning--the weather's so absolutely beautiful, just like it was the morning of 9/11/01. Not sure what to make of this odd association, but I get nostalgic and sad on breezy, sunny days like this throughout the year. I think of that day--that morning--quite often.

You're not alone. I always will remember the beginning of September as a time of beautiful weather bacause of that day. Can never forget that.
