The proprietress of this wonderful establishment is a marvelous woman, originally from Odessa, named Lana (short for Svetlana).
Her haircuts and straight-edge razor shaves are a treasure in the city, a source of joy and relaxation and, even at their recently increased price of $12 and $10, still a bargain.
Savor the old-time attractions of a friendly, neighborhood barber shop. And, while you're waiting, ask Lana if she'd like a coffee from Mazzola's on the corner of Henry and Union. After all, she's on her feet all day.
