Salvager: 1948 Chambers Stove, $500

stoveA reader writes in: I bought a great old house in BedStuy and it had a Chambers Stove, ca. 1948, white enamel. I believe it is an "A" model (no timer, close down lid). It's in working condition with a small rust spot on lip of top lid and in need of cleaning. I am looking for a home for it. It is in a ground floor apartment. I would like to get $500 for it.
