McCarren Park Development 3
This property on the eastern side of the park'll probably end up being our favorite, since it's starting with a nice old shell. The developer is knocking out the old smaller windows and creating large floor-to-ceiling loft windows. And who's in charge of marketing? Our friends at the Developers Group.

Looks like it could end up being nice.

I fairly certain that this project belongs to a celebrity, although I can't recall which.
20 Bayard St which is going up next door will tower over this building with 19 stories IIRC.

And The Developers are marketing another project next door called the Aurora. Is that a little strange or what?

Does someone know what's the deal with the 7th Street development between 3rd Avenue and 4th Avenue in Park Slope (Gowanus)? They seem to be shooting for the stars with their asking prices of almost $1000 per square foot (and actually over $1000 per square foot for the penthouse). It looks like they didn't even bother to put an elevator in the building. If this was a PPW address I would call it a very high price, but between 3rd and 4th??? Is this a joke?

I don't understan how the developers groups keeps getting these projects. They are the most moronic self-rightous group of people I have ever met. Maybe they cornered the market in williamsburg or offer rediculously low commisions. Can someone enlighten me?

Developers group are the worst people i have ever dealt with in New York in my life. All the best projects Schaffer and 55 berry are being handled by the best in Manhattan Elliman and Corcoran. Developers group are a very unprofessional group of people to deal with. They have low-balled the Williamsburg market. Such bad representation.
