Brooklyn, the Gum

gum
According to blogger The Food Section, Italians can't get enough of this Brooklyn-brand gum. The one-track-minded boys over at Curbed see this as yet another sign of a bubble in our dear borough.

This gum has been around since long before Myrtle Avenue was known as Murder Avenue. It's got nothing at all to do with being a sign of the bubble that has become Brooklyn. Every year I go to Italy I buy some of this. Doesn't pack as much flavor as good ole Juicy Fruit but as a conversation piece it's a lot of fun.

Actually if you ever see road bikers zipping around Prospect Park in red white and blue bike jerseys with "Brooklyn" on the front of them, those are Italian jerseys sponsored by this chewing gum manufacturer.

That's actually pretty funny.

Did y'all know that perverts have a particular attraction to brownstones, because of the privacy they provide for perving activities as compared to apartments?

But then again, we've all got a little pervert in us . . . especially you rich Brooklyn brownstone owning perverts. . . if you say you're not rich, give me your fucking house and move into my Kmart tent in my friend Bill's back yard in Jersey City.
