The Other Brooklyn: Brooklyn, Connecticut
We were up visiting the 'rents in Connecticut this weekend and were able to negotiate a few hours away from child rearing to take a scenic drive up Route 169 which just happens to run through a charming historic town called, you guessed it, Brooklyn. GMAP

Heath and Michelle have a place on Douglass Street they are renovating (between Smith & Hoyt).

Leger and Williams live on 2nd Place in Carroll Gardens. I saw them sitting on their stoop last week

Ahh, yes, the other Brooklyn. I love that area, and especially love the drive down Route 169 from Woodstock to Brooklyn, CT.
I still prefer the tree-shaded neighborhoods of Brooklyn Heights, NY, but if Grimaldi's ever moved to Brooklyn, CT...hmm...then it may be a different story.

Hey! I just stumbled upon your site through Google. I happen to live in that other Brooklyn. In fact, I'm starting up a little bbs for the townsfolk called "theotherbrooklyn.com."
Things are kind of slow in my Brooklyn right now. The big news is they're tearing up the main road through town to make a bigger main road. Kind of a mess, actually.
It's taking me a while to get tmy Brooklyn bbs off the ground. So far I have only seven members -- of course we are a small town.
If anyone from "The Big Brooklyn" wants to pop by theotherbrooklyn.com and say hello, I'll put the coffee on. We are sisters, after all!
