Brownstoner Sightings: Stipe in the Burg
After a long, crappy day at ye olde office, we swung by Williamsburg favorite Bonita to pick up an order of chicken enchiladas to go and who should be sitting right in the middle of the restaurant but Michael Stipe. This reminded us that we had seen him about a year earlier at the original neighborhood hotspot, Diner. (Coincidentally, Bonita and Diner are both owned by the landlords who are giving us shelter while we finish our renovations in Clinton Hill.) As far as we know, though, he has resisted the temptation to join Busta Rhymes in the Gretsch Building.
