At risk of beating a dead horse with this whole South Slope anti-development thing, we direct your attention to a photo essay by blogger Transfer on the aesthetic destruction being wreaked by developers on Dean Street between 4th and 5th Avenues. "What a pile of uninspired insipid trash," he writes. "Love the wood awning, the curvaceous railings...Yowsers."
