In Williamsburg’s McCarren Park, Northside Media Group’s free annual SummerScreen series — now in its 11th year — will be hosting six cult classics throughout July and August. The films are:
July 6: Scream
July 13: Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle
July 20: The Fast and the Furious
July 27: 10 Things I Hate About You
August 3: The Royal Tenenbaums
August 10: Audience pick (Almost Famous, Fifth Element, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Snakes on a Plane or You Got Served)
The screenings all begin with live music at 6 p.m.; the movies come on at sundown, and local vendors will be on site to provide food and drink.
