Beloved Brooklyn food market Smorgasburg is returning to Prospect Park this April, the Prospect Park Alliance has announced.

The artisan feast, which features dozens of local vendors in a market-style setup, had a pilot run in Prospect Park last fall. A spinoff of the Brooklyn Flea, the event started on the Williamsburg waterfront. It has since appeared in a variety of locations, including Brooklyn Bridge Park, Fort Greene and, this winter, Sunset Park’s Industry City.

Immensely popular with locals and foodies alike, Smorgasburg has been expanding beyond Brooklyn for years. This summer, it plans a Hudson Valley debut, on Saturdays in Kingston. It will also open in Los Angeles in June.

This year’s Prospect Park Smorgasburg will run from April 3 through October 3 on Breeze Hill and will feature 100 local and regional vendors with an international selection of cuisines.
