This Fort Greene two-family townhouse sold in September for $613,000, changing hands from the estate of the previous owners to a corporation. In October, Corcoran put it on the market forĀ $1,670,000. The house does not appear to have been renovated in the meantime, judging by the photos, although it does have some beautiful original detail. A few weeks later, the price decreased 11 percent toĀ $1,490,000, according to Streeteasy. In early November, the ask increased 14 percent to $1,700,000. Then, surprisingly, on Dec. 6, Corcoran relisted the house again, this time forĀ $2,400,000, an increase of 41 percent, according to PropertyShark. Does anyone know what’s going on? We don’t see any indication on the listing that it is in contract.
