Hurricane Sandy
We hear Almondine will be open very soon in Dumbo. NY1 profiles the struggles of the Red Hook Winery, who hopes to reopen its tasting room by March 1st. And above, a sneak peak of the nearly rebuilt Fairway, set to reopen on March 1st.

North Brooklyn
The owners of Greenpoint beer bar/restaurant Tørst are shooting for a March 8th opening. The East Village taco joint Snack Dragon expanded into Williamsburg and is now open on South 4th Street between Bedford & Driggs. And another East Village restauranteur has set his sites on Williamsburg, opening up Sweet Chick — a fried chicken joint — at 164 Bedford Avenue, near North 8th Street. Workout space Brooklyn Bodyburn opened up on the ground floor of the Edge. Library and reading room Mellow Pages opens tomorrow in Bushwick in a 250-foot-square studio on 56 Bogart Street. And the Bushwick venue Goodbye Blue Monday is seeking donations to pay for renovations and upkeep.

Park Slope
The L Magazine wonders why Park Slope has lost another video store after hearing about the closing of Reel Video, at 70 5th Avenue. Noella Brew Bar, the coffee shop opened by the former owner of Ozzie’s, is set to close March 3rd. Just Salad opened at the Park Slope eatery space on 7th Avenue and 5th Street. Galaxy Comics is holding a big sale before they shutter at the end of March.

Elsewhere
A creperie/prepared foods shop will open in March at 1715 Foster Avenue, in Ditmas Park. In Cobble Hill, Broken English closed its doors but will reopen soon under the name of Jarro. It’s planned to be a Mediterranean restaurant. The Olympia Wine Bar is opening in Dumbo on Jay Street. And Big Mark’s Action Park will open this summer in Coney Island with a 50-foot rock climbing wall, an obstacle course, a skydiving simulator and a bar.
