Williamsburg/Greenpoint
The owners of Smorg favorite Landhaus plan to open a full restaurant inside of The Woods in South Williamsburg. On the menu: pork chops, cheeseburgers, lobster rolls, and maple bacon sticks (pictured above, photo by Bon Eats). Roman restaurant Antica Pesa opened in the old Planet Thai space at 115 Berry Street. And Greenpoint cafe Milk and Roses plans to feature a full Southern Italian menu for dinnertime. They will remain open for lunch and brunch.

Park Slope
Landhaus isn’t expanding only to Williamsburg… they also announced they were taking over the People’s Pops space on Union Street for the wintertime. They will serve sandwiches and the like until People’s Pops returns next spring. A frozen yogurt shop opened up on 5th Avenue, despite Park Slopers getting really tired of frozen yogurt. Bistro Canaille reopened on 5th Avenue after several months of renovations with a smaller menu, wine and a new name: Canaille Wine Bar. Speaking of wine bars, Al Di La Vino reopened, now as a “wide-open one-room setup,” according to Grub Street.

Elsewhere
A 7-11 is slated for Ditmas Park on the corner of Beverly Road and Coney Island Avenue. The Brooklyn Paper profiles new Clinton Hill speakeasy Mayflower Social, open on the corner of Greene and Waverly avenues. And Runner and Stone, the Gowanus bakery planned for 285 3rd Avenue, is opening soon and currently hiring.
