As a reader let us know about a week ago, a big poster has gone up in the window of a storefront on Court between Schermerhorn and State streets that looks “like a 16 Handles knockoff” is coming soon. The biz will be called iCrave and will offer self-serve frozen yogurt. This space has seen plenty of turnover in recent years; one of the recent tenants was also a frozen yogurt shop, Yogo Monster. There’s also another fro-yo shop a few doors down, Red Mango. Anyhow, the poster in the window promises it will be “swirling soon” with “21 fantastic flavors” and “savory smoothies.” GMAP
Self serve is awesome and I love the name, it’s across from the movie theatre and Barnes and Noble so it should do very well.The yogurt store that was there a few years ago was not self serve and not very good- bring on the 16 handles competition!
