This news was published a week ago in Hotel Chatter but it’s worth repeating: Downtown Brooklyn’s Hotel Indigo, previously Hotel 718, is officially open. Last we heard, the hotel was expected to open this October. Here’s what Hotel Chatter has to say about the interiors: “The hotel boasts nice hardwood floors, room service, matching art on the walls and, of course, free WiFi. These are the little touches that you’ll find inside every Indigo… Size-wise, the rooms are pretty decent — and the bathrooms in particular have plenty of room, which is always good.” Rates range from around $259 to $599 a night. The article does not mention if the restaurant opened or not. The hotel came into the Lam Group’s ownership only a few months ago; they bought it for $31 million. That turnaround was quick!
