Men’s fashion magazine GQ is partnering with the local Fellow Barber chain to open a barbershop at Barclays Center this Friday. The 400-square-foot spot, pictured above, will offer cuts, shaves and GQ-sponsored products during sporting events and concerts. Prices range from $10 for a “cleanup” to $40 for a haircut or shave, and $75 for a shave and cut.

The Conde Nast-owned publication sees the shop as an opportunity to reach “nearly 18,000 fans nightly,” according to a press release. The retro-styled Fellow Barber has locations in Soho, the West Village, Williamsburg and San Francisco.

Opening during the Nets-Heat game this Friday, the shop will remain on the venue’s main hall through the end of this year. To commemorate its launch, Nets player Deron Williams and boxer Luis Collazo will get the first haircuts on Friday. GMAP
