French Restaurant Antagonist Close to Opening on Malcolm X in East Bed Stuy
When we stopped by The Antagonist at 238 Malcolm X Boulevard recently, the exterior looked finished and furniture was being added to the dining room inside. The casual fine dining restaurant will serve classic French fare with farm (and sea) to table ingredients, owner Amadeus Broger told us. He said he hopes to open in mid-December….

The casual fine dining restaurant will serve classic French fare with farm (and sea) to table ingredients, owner Amadeus Broger told us. He said he hopes to open in mid-December.
Tibetan by birth, Broger grew up in Switzerland and has owned several restaurants in Manhattan. He decided to open one in Bed Stuy after moving to the neighborhood three years ago.

His Greenwich Village joint, Le Philosophe, is a serious restaurant with top notch food. This place should be a boon to our neighborhood.
