A bull was loose in Prospect Park today and caused a bit of a stir. The animal apparently broke off from the herd to go for a frolic in the park this morning. Helicopters were circling, capturing a live feed, and the bull already has a two competing Twitter accounts.

Brooklynites on social media spotted the bull on Coney Island Avenue and 17th Street before it headed toward the green pastures of Prospect Park. Police captured it around 1:30 p.m. today.

Observers speculated the bull escaped on its way to a slaughterhouse. Its future after this escapade is unclear.
