A big construction fence is up at 212 Vanderbilt Avenue, the site of St. Joseph College’s future gymnasium. The building will be a combination of brick, metal, and glass “illuminated from within,” meaning the facility will glow at night. The ground floor will be used for a basketball and volleyball court, and the building will also house the athletic department’s offices and a fitness center. The space in question was previously used as a parking lot. You can see a picture of the lot and the rendering after the jump.
