The site at 64 Bayard Street in Williamsburg has been dormant for a few months now—and, prior to that, work was moving very slowly—but a new development partner has been brought in and construction is expected to resume soon. Hudson Companies (of the Third + Blog condo, among others) is teaming up with the original developer, a firm called Brend. David Kramer, a principal at Hudson, says the finished product will be a condo and it’s slated to be done in spring 2013. The architect on the 52-unit project is GreenbergFarrow, and the design will look something like a rendering Curbed published a few months ago. Kramer says Hudson expects there will be demand for the condo given how well other buildings in the area, like 144 North 8th Street, have been selling. GMAP
