Performing arts space, cafe and gym Brooklyn Lyceum, located in former Public Bath No. 7 in Gowanus, will host a new storytelling series called “Gowanologues,” focused on tales of old Brooklyn, starting in January. Lyceum proprietors Eric and Wendy Richmond kick off the series Jan. 5 with anecdotes about the changing neighborhood of Gowanus. Kevin Holmes headlines with a narrative about his uncle, a former fireman for the bath. Show starts at 8 pm and includes pizza and music; tickets are $20 to $30. The landmarked building was designed by Raymond Almirall in the early years of the 20th century and is located at 227 4th Avenue at President Street.
