The Dumbo skyline just got a whole lot more colorful. Over the weekend, Brooklyn-based artist Tom Fruin installed this water tower piece on the roof of 20 Jay Street. Fruin constructed the piece from over a thousand scraps of salvaged plexiglass. During the day, it is illuminated by the sun. From dusk to morning, there will be a light show inside the watertower. The exhibit will be in Dumbo for a year and is visible all the way from the FDR Drive and Lower Manhattan.
