The WyckoffHeights.org Tumblr blog notes that a Williamsburg restaurant owner is planning to open a cafe, bar and restaurant with live music and dancing in Bushwick at 428 and 432 Troutman Street. Charles Kaim purchased the property, formerly a body shop for refrigerated trucks, last year and intends to live in the caretaker’s apartment. (He also owns Maracuja Bar & Grill.) Kaim is building an addition on top of the building, lining the inside with reclaimed wood, and planting a green roof on top. The venue is slated to open in the spring.
