This weekend you can sample some of Brooklyn’s best culinary treats – all while supporting the Brooklyn Greenway Initiative’s work to bring bike and pedestrian space to the borough’s waterfront.

The Brooklyn Greenway Initiative is hosting their 13th annual Brooklyn Waterfront Tastes benefit party to support the completion of the Brooklyn Waterfront Greenway, a pedestrian and cycling path that will stretch 14 miles from Greenpoint to Bay Ridge. This year’s celebration will take place in Sunset Park’s Industry City. The event will play host to some of Brooklyn’s most popular eateries, including Baba’s Pierogies, The Hop Shop, Steve’s Authentic Key Lime Pie and more.

“Event attendees hailing from Brooklyn and the boroughs beyond are invited to spend a festive summer afternoon enjoying the best food and drink that Brooklyn has to offer, all in an expansive, landscaped courtyard adjacent to the future route of the Brooklyn Waterfront Greenway,” said BGI co-founder Brian McCormick.
