Become the Rumpelstiltskin of lucrative food creations by learning to make money off your artisanal creations at the Brooklyn Public Library’s food business class.

Local small business owners Michelle Lewis of Spoonable, and Pooja Bavishi of Malai Ice Cream will discuss their businesses’ development from passion to profit at the Start an Artisanal Food Business, an installment of the Brooklyn Public Library’s Start Smart Series.

The free course will also feature entrepreneurial guidance from food and beverage law expert Lauren Handel of Foscolo & Handel PLLC.

This event will take place from 6-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20 at the Brooklyn Public Library’s 280 Cadman Plaza West branch.
