Question of the day – what have you read lately?
The gorgeous library at The Oracle Club in LIC – lots of books!
It’s always fun to hear what people are reading these days. So what have you read lately? Are you a book fiend? Devoted to magazines (newsy and trashy alike)? Or maybe you’re fully online and you primarily read content on the web? Let us know – leave us a comment here or via twitter at @queensnycity!
Closing Bell: Sketches of Brooklyn
Urban Sketchers is a new(ish) blog that consists of artists from around the world who draw the cities where they live and travel to. They also have a Flickr page as well. As expected, Brooklyn is a popular place to sketch and some of the artists capture the borough and the people in it so beautifully. Check it out for yourself.

Closing Bell: Future of Coney Island Site Now Belgian Porn
As reported by Curbed, the Future of Coney Island website is gone and in its place is porn. Unfortunately, you shouldn’t scratch that itch because rumors are that if you visit the site it will install malware on your computer. The domain, owned by Thor Equities’ former PR firm, was not hacked but just not renewed by the firm which allowed a Belgian porn company to really show the future of Coney Island.
