This three-bedroom, 3.5-bath house for rent in Bath Beach has some unusual renovations and a suburban vibe. Built in 1925, according to the listing, the house has an updated arched front door, large arched windows and a gas fireplace with a mirror. The first floor comprises a living room, dining room and den. The kitchen counter tops are very bright and there’s plenty of kitchen storage.
The renovations may not be for everyone, but a family would have space to spread out in the 2,000 square foot house, which comes with a heated in-ground swimming pool and a backyard. It also has a driveway and a garage. However, that pink stucco exterior reminds us of Florida (maybe a plus for some people?). What do you think of it for $3,200 a month?
Even though it’s a Wednesday, there are several open houses going on tonight. Below are listings from the Marketplace (complete with their verbatim broker babble) that will be opening their doors open later tonight. (more…)
Yesterday Thor Equities Chief Executive Officer Joseph Sitt was joined by Marty Markowitz and others to break ground at a 200,000-square-foot site at 1752 Shore Parkway in Bath Beach, the future home of a BJ’s Wholesale Club. Construction workers have already begun working on clearing the land and taking care of some of the erosion from the hurricane, since the spot is located right off the water. Building construction has not begun yet but the BJ’s is scheduled to open in the spring of 2014. This will be New York City’s sixth BJ’s, and the third location in Brooklyn.
