This one is at 8 Warren Place — which was featured as a House of the Day back in 2014. While tight on space, as all these houses are, it makes good use of what it’s got, with a master bedroom and full bath on the top floor, kitchen and living room in the middle, and second bedroom and bathroom plus an office on the garden level.

It looks homey and attractive, with exposed brick, exposed wood ceiling beams and natural woodwork. There’s A/C, and the listing, from Olga Neulist at Sotheby’s, promises a washer/dryer, though it’s not clear where it’s hidden.

That cozy window seat in the home’s front room looks delightful. On the top floor, a windowed partition separates the bedroom from the rest of the space, while still letting a little natural light into the interior.

We knew this charming, highly coveted Mews rental was going to go fast — it just went under contract at a relatively reasonable $4,900 a month — but it’s still worth a look. What do you think of it?
