Our Open House Picks from six months ago did well, with three sold and one still on the market. All three went for full ask or near it.

Interestingly, the one property still on the market was the least expensive at $459,000 — nearly 10 times cheaper than the most expensive home.

That home — a classic four-story brownstone in Brooklyn Heights — asked $4.15 million. Currently set up as a triplex over a garden rental, the house got $150,000 under ask at $4 million.

On Halsey Street in Bed Stuy, a newly renovated four-story, three-unit townhouse with a corrugated steel facade and prosaic interiors went for full ask, bringing in the original listing price of $1.7 million.

Also in Bed Stuy, but over on Marion Street, a three-story, three-unit home with a textured charcoal-gray facade and finished basement fared slightly worse at $1.349 million, $150,000 under its $1.499 million ask.

Lastly, the 1940s attached brick Corcoran listing on East 40th Street in East Flatbush is still on the market, though now listed with Keller Williams, with its $459,000 ask reduced to $450,000. While that may seem like the deal of the century, the property is only one story — two if you count the finished basement, and it legally is only a one-family.
