    L Train Won’t Shut Down Until 2018, Disruptions Could Last Seven Years
    New details on the much-feared L train tunnel repairs — which would entail shutting down one or both sets of tracks running between Brooklyn and Manhattan — came to light this week at a local community board meeting. City Council Member Stephen Levin told the crowd that repairs to the tunnel could take two to seven years.

    Williamsburg’s Bedford Avenue Among Priciest Retail Strips in the Country, Report Finds
    It’s no secret that Williamsburg’s storefront rents are some of the priciest in the borough, but a new report now reveals they are also some of the priciest in the country. The ever-changing commercial strip of Bedford Avenue is, along with Fulton Mall and Court Street in Downtown Brooklyn, among the 10 most expensive retail corridors in the nation, according to a new report by Brooklyn-based CPEX Real Estate.
