  1. I actually gave that quote to the Times, and I think if you look at Fulton, yeah, it’s a neighborhood in transition. You can all jump on me if you want, but look at those blocks of Fulton between Grand and Franklin. The Goodwill closed, they’re tearing down all those buildings by the shuttle, it’s changing there, and hard. DeKalb? No. Myrtle? No. But Fulton? I think so.

    • Yup, since Vanderbilt is the dividing line, and the second and third images were taken west of it. Also, the eighth photo, titled “crossing Lafayette at Vanderbilt, ” in actuality shows people crossing Vanderbilt at Lafayette; the view is looking north up Vanderbilt as the pedestrians walk east across it. However, as Vanderbilt is the dividing line between FG and CH, and they’re on the east side of the center line, they’ve just stepped into CH. Typical quality reporting by the Times..

  2. Is Clinton Hill really a neighborhood in transition? That seems somewhat absurd to say. Seems like the transition is nigh on complete. Or is that not officially done until there is a Tribeca Pediatrics?
