Hosted by the Brooklyn Historical Society in partnership with Brooklyn Brainery, this event will give you a master’s education in chocolate-ology in the context of local makers.

On December 10, historic gastronomist Sarah Lohman will lecture on chocolate’s history and creation, from the production process to its origins. A panel of chocolatiers will supplement her presentation with their own stories from some of New York’s most mouth-watering chocolate bars.

A tasting will be included.

The confectionary affair will go from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, December 10, at the Brooklyn Historical Society at 128 Pierrepont Street. Seating is first come, first served.

Tickets are $12, with discounts available for members. They can be purchased online.
