Pick Pumpkins at McCarren Park This Saturday

Nothing says autumn like gourds!

No need to travel to pastures beyond the city to find a pumpkin for the season — McCarren Park is hosting its annual Pumpkin Day from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 3.

The family-friendly gourd day will feature a pick-your-own-pumpkin patch, arts and crafts, face painting, live music, food from local vendors, and other activities.

Tickets for the event are $10 per child online or $15 at the event. Proceeds will go to Greenpoint’s locally run cub scout pack Lucky Pack 7 and sponsor community group Town Square.
