Carroll Gardens Condos in Row House With Marble Kitchens Start at $1.25 Million

Sales launched last week at a 19th-century building at 229 Sackett Street in Carroll Gardens that has been converted to condos with unusually luxurious marble bathrooms and kitchens. Two of a total of four units at the four-story brick building are on the market, starting at $1,250,000 for a two-bedroom.

The two-bedroom unit, No. 3, takes up a whole floor. It measures 998 square feet and has two bathrooms and in-unit laundry.

The three bedroom unit, No. 4, has a similar layout to the smaller unit but adds a bonus penthouse master suite with roof decks on the front and the back of the bedroom. It measures 1,291 square feet. The asking price is $1,750,000.

The developer, an LLC, bought the building in October of 2013 for $2,262,500 and converted it to condos. The listing says the building will be ready to be occupied in the fall.
