3030 West 32nd Street1

You can’t live closer to the Coney Island Boardwalk than this. The three-bedroom, two-bathroom condo at 3030 West 32nd Street is right on the boardwalk.

It has views of the beach, the boardwalk and the Atlantic Ocean. It’s also quite large at 1,500 square feet.

There are wood floors throughout, and it appears to get plenty of that beach light through the large windows and doors. This unit also has a balcony and a private roof deck.

The building, called The Oceanview, has 11 units — a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. What do you think of it for $910,000?

  1. I want to see Coney Island redevelopment more than anyone, but we’re just not there yet. Who exactly are the developers expecting to move here?

There are so many better places to live right on the boardwalk. I know someone that used to have an apartment in the highrise towers on Brighton 1st — direct ocean views, block from subway, surrounded by good food, and most importantly orders of magnitude safer. With the prices there now they’re kicking themeselves for selling…

  2. The listing forgot to mention that the location is by far the worst in South Brooklyn on many fronts. The area was trashed during Sandy and recovery is still going on. There are projects galore, and shooting happen often. The nearest subway is 20 blocks away. The areas lacks in services-there is one supermarket, Key Food, and a few ethnic stores. The schools are horrible. There are so many other places in Brooklyn where one can buy better digs for 910K!

  3. Maybe if more East — and even then, $900 needed to include higher grade kitchen appliance — and the fridge needed to be counter depth. Also, never ideal to be at the ramp — all day kids will be sitting on the rails making noise and leaving garbage. Since this is NEXT DOOR TO THE PROJECTS, this will go for about $695 – and that is generous.
