Racist maybe a strong word, though her actions inevitably bring upon such criticism, and for a politician, you bears even more responsibility for your words than the general public. She could totally get involved with more issues that concern her constituents of all different racial backgrounds, which is what is becoming of her district anyway. After saying so many wrong things, only real action could speak otherwise. It’d be nice to see more diversity in her agenda.
Wow, yes, you’re right Cate. So sorry. I take that one back about the “Deadbeat tenant” episode, though I still stand by the rest of my comment. Thanks for pointing that out Cate:)
It’s very sad we have so many self serving politicians in our neighborhood. I still remember the episode when she failed to pay rent for her office space, and when her landlord locked her, which is legally allowed for commercial properties if tenants don’t pay rent. She actually got her landlord arrested, clearly exercised her influences. While I can not certain whether she’s a racist, she’s definitely not qualified to be our representative due to her incompetence and unacceptable actions. She needs to get on all issues that matter to her constituents, including public schools, increased air traffic noise….. It’d be amazing to have Tish James as a representative for our ditrict (Bed Stuy- Clinton Hill), she’s awesome.
