30 6th avenue rendering

Greenland Forest City Partners filed permits yesterday for the 23-story affordable rental building at 30 6th Avenue, on the corner of 6th and Dean Streets, firming up the details of plans released, along with the above rendering, months ago. The Real Deal was the first to spot the permits.

The Atlantic Yards/Pacific Park building will rise 218 feet into the air with a total of 341,595 square feet. The 305 apartments will be spread across 321,337 square feet of residential space; commercial square footage will total 20,000. The development will also have 73 subterranean parking spots and a medical facility on the second floor.

As previously announced, SHoP is the architect of record on the project, which will break ground by June 31.
