634 dean street rendering

Commercial brokerage TerraCRG bought a former factory at 634 Dean Street in Prospect Heights and plans to renovate it to serve as a new headquarters. TerraCRG sent us this rendering of the 6,600-square-foot building between Carlton and Vanderbilt avenues, which is being designed by architect Ole Sondresen.

The new offices will have multiple conference rooms, an employee lounge, a wellness center, a chef’s kitchen and an elevator, and will be decorated with art and furniture made by Brooklyn artists. Ole Sondresen has won awards for revamping Etsy’s Dumbo offices and transforming one of the landmarked Greenpoint pencil factory buildings into office space for Kickstarter.

The firm purchased the two-story structure in June for $2,650,000, according to public records. It’s four blocks from TerraCRG’s current office at 592 Pacific Street, across from the Barclays Center.

The renovation will wrap in mid-2015, TerraCRG told us. Click through to see what the building looks like now. GMAP
