Six-Story Building Coming to Broadway and Dekalb in Bushwick

We spotted this schematic for what appears to be a Fedders-style apartment building at 1119 Broadway, near the corner of Dekalb Avenue in Bushwick. The 2,025-square-foot lot is currently home to a single-story garage, which hasn’t been demolished yet.

The new development will be six stories tall with 10 units and ground floor retail, according to permits posted on the fence. It’s next to the elevated tracks and the entrance to the Kosciuszko J train stop. An LLC bought the property, along with a storefront next door at 1121 Broadway, for $770,000 last year.
